Remly indexes your Mac and connects it to your agents through MCP, so the work you actually do becomes context they can use. Your files stay in place on your Mac – Remly doesn’t keep copies. Text extracted from them is sent to build the index, and you choose per folder whether that index syncs to the cloud.

Remly is built so your work stays under your control. Here’s what we access, and what we don’t.

Your files stay in place.

Remly doesn’t copy your files. It sends the text it extracts to our API to build the index, and you choose per folder whether that index stays on your Mac or syncs to our cloud.

We don’t train AI on your data.

Remly uses OpenAI’s API. Your content is processed to return your results, and OpenAI does not train on it.

Read-only access.

Remly reads the sources you connect. It never creates, edits, moves, sends, or deletes your content.

Encrypted connections.

Connections to your apps use encrypted, read-only authorization.
