Microsoft Teams is not available to connect yet. The four Microsoft connectors ship together, and this page describes what Teams will do when they land.
Description
Remly will index your Teams meeting transcripts from the last 60 days, so a decision made out loud is findable afterwards by what was said rather than by who was in the room. The 60 days is Microsoft’s limit, not ours: Graph stops serving transcripts older than that. Chats and channel messages are searched live, through Microsoft, and never stored. Each person connects their own work account and sees only the meetings they attended. Microsoft Teams is for work and school Microsoft accounts – a personal Microsoft account has no Teams meetings to index, and Microsoft refuses it at sign-in.

For Microsoft 365 administrators
Someone at your organization wants to connect Microsoft Teams to Remly. Microsoft requires an administrator to approve the app once for the tenant before anyone can connect. It takes about a minute, and you do not need a Remly account.
Approve the app
The link hands you to Microsoft. You sign in with your own administrator account and approve on Microsoft’s own consent screen, which lists the application and every permission it asks for. Remly is never shown your password and is not part of that exchange.
The approval link opens when Microsoft Teams does.
Turn on Transcript API access
Microsoft keeps a second switch outside the consent system, and ships it off. Until it is on, no app can read meeting transcripts no matter what has been approved. In Teams admin center go to Meetings, then Meeting settings, then Transcript API access, and turn Microsoft Graph access on. Turning on attributed transcripts on the same page is worth it too: without it, every transcript reads “Unknown speaker”.

What this does and does not do
- Approving grants permission to ask, never data. Nothing is read until an individual employee connects their own Microsoft account to Remly.
- Each person sees only meetings they attended. Access is per-user and owner-scoped; connecting does not expose one employee’s meetings to another.
- Remly indexes meeting transcripts from the last 60 days. Chats and channel messages are never stored: they are searched live, through Microsoft, and discarded.
- You can withdraw this at any time in Microsoft Entra admin center, under Enterprise applications, without involving us.
